Club Calendar

For updates or further details on any of the trips listed above contact the listed trip coordinator and/or subscribe to the Whitehorse Canoe Club email list.

While all efforts will be made to run trips as scheduled on the calendar, they are subject to water levels and river conditions at the time.

Impromptu trips are run throughout the year to take advantage of good water levels or surf conditions. These club trips are organised at short notice via the Whitehorse Canoe Club email list.

The grading below gives a rough indication of the skill level required for the trip:

  • Grade 1 indicates that the trip is suitable for novices who have completed at least a basic skills course.
  • Grade 2 indicates that some whitewater experience is required.
  • Grade 3 indicates considerable experience is necessary.

Be sure to contact the trip coordinator well in advance if in any doubt concerning your ability to complete a trip. In the end it is your responsibility to determine if you can safely participate.

These trips are only open to people that are financially up to date members of Whitehorse Canoe Club and Paddle Victoria/Paddle Australia, or who have taken out trial membership of Whitehorse Canoe Club and Paddle Victoria/Paddle Australia.
