Whitehorse Canoe Club (WHCC) membership is open to anyone with an interest in Paddling.

Our members are from all walks of life, in fact anyone who wants to experience the natural beauty of Victorian rivers and/or the thrill of whitewater. Many club members are also active in other outdoor pursuits and activities such as mountain bike riding, skiing, hiking and climbing etc.

Membership provides you with a link into to a network of likeminded people that have many years of experience in all aspects of whitewater kayaking.

Joining and Renewing

Membership to the Whitehorse Canoe Club is managed through Paddle Australia. As a member of a Paddle Australia affiliated club you will be covered by insurance while paddling. This is a prerequisite for attending any Whitehorse Canoe Club trips to avoid liablity issues.

The Paddle Australia Clubs page provides a way to search for clubs, contains help guides for joining or renewing membership, and has a link to "Join or Renew" which navigates to the Paddle Australia Membership & Events Portal.

Go to the Paddle Australia Membership & Events Portal and login if you have an existing account, otherwise create a new account. Search for "Whitehorse Canoe Club" to view membership options.

If you are already a member, then you should receive a renewal reminder in your email. This contains a "Renew Now" button which encodes your membership id, making renewal easy!

Trial Membership

If you wish to attend a Whitehorse Canoe Club trip without committing to and paying for a full membership, there is an option to sign up for a 4 week trial membership. This will provide you with Paddle Australia insurance so that you can participate in trips run by Whitehorse Canoe Club.

Follow the steps above for Joining and Renewing and select the 4 week trial membership option.
